QR Code Scan IP Address Lock

This feature allows you to restrict the IP addresses from which the QR code can be scanned. This is useful if the university wants to restrict the QR code to be scanned only from the university network, to prevent students from scanning from home.

Setup​

In System Configuration under qrCodeScanIpAddressLock there is an input field for the allowed IP addresses. Administrator can input a single IP address or a range of IP addresses or comma separated combination of both.

Examples​

Limit to single IP address:

123.123.123.123

Limit to IP address range:

123.123.123.123 - 123.123.124.0

Limit to multiple IP addresses and ranges:

123.123.123.123, 123.123.123.124, 123.123.124.0 - 123.123.124.200, 127.127.127.127
